A Peaceful Home

Pro_17:1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

Peace and quietness of heart, will give you long life and health. When you have learned to choose your battles, not to strive over petty worldly issues, you will find peace of mind.

A house full of peace is a blessed house. It is better to have little with quietness then a feast with strife and unrest. When one strives, one cannot enjoy anything, nothing is sufficient, and no beauty can be seen in the things one has.  Everything is seen through a grey filter, with no colour, no taste no joy.

Cultivate peace in your home, at meal times, when you wake, when you sleep and when you interact with your family.

Eph_4:3  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Rom 12:18  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
