Consultation Terms

Confidentiality
- As a Holistic health practitioner, I am not licensed as a psychologist or a mental health provider.
- All information given and shared is treated with strict confidentiality.
- I will not release/share/disseminate any information to anyone without written authorization from you, except as provided for by law.
- I will not release any information to anyone without written authorization from you, except as provided for by law. You have a right to be allowed access to my written records about you.
Exceptions to confidentiality
The following are some exceptions that allow or require the release of confidential information without client consent.
- In cases of immediate risk/threat of suicide or homicide on the part of the client.
- In cases of child or elderly abuse or neglect.
- In cases required by law or court subpoena.
Services are complimentary
- My services are considered complementary to normal medical and psychiatric care.
- As the client, you understand that the services you receive are not a substitute for normal medical care and are hereby advised to discuss medical services with your physician.
- I reserve the right to refer you to an appropriate professional should I feel that your needs are outside the coaching framework.
Session length
- The normal length of each paid session is 60 minutes. But if necessary, we will extend the time of the session.
- I approach issues with the fundamental concept that you, the client, have the ability to restore and find wholeness.
- I view my position in our relationship as a process facilitator to assist you in connecting with your own internal resources to resolve your challenges.
- As the process facilitator, I will determine which processes or educational assets to use and apply such processes or education as I deem appropriate.
Client responsibility
- As the client, you are willing to accept the counselling, techniques, and processes offered to help you find inner healing and wholeness.
- As the client, it is your responsibility to cooperate with such processes and follow through with subsequent assignments to the best of your ability.
- As the client, it is important to have all your homework/assignments and/or documents sent to your counsellor at least 24 hours before your next session begins.
- Outcomes: No guarantee can or will be given as to your counselling or mentoring outcome.
Client Rights
If you, the client, desire a diagnosis or any other type of treatment from a different practitioner, you may seek such services at any time. If you terminate my services, you have a right to coordinate the transfer of services to another practitioner. You have a right to refuse my services at any time. You have a right to be free of physical, verbal, or sexual abuse from me. You have a right to know the expected duration of treatment and may assert any right without retaliation.
Payment
- As the client, you acknowledge that you will forfeit all session payments for which you fail to appear and/or give at least 24 hours notice.
- PLEASE NOTE: Full payment is due before the session begins. Failure to make appropriate payments can result in the cancellation, withholding or loss of services.
The above Consultation Terms help facilitator and client mutually agree to and negotiate well-defined boundaries within the relationship.
