God will keep you in perfect peace; peace of heart, peace of mind, peace with others, peace with present circumstances.
Our minds and our hearts are interconnected. Our thoughts affect our emotions, which affects our behaviour and how we respond to others and life’s daily circumstances.
Setting our minds on Him, thinking on His character and His precepts, will help us make decisions and choices with wisdom and understanding, resulting in peace.
Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Being mindful of God also brings security. As David writes in Psalm 16:8 “I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Feeling secure brings about a feeling of peace, of rest, or confidence that He is with you, no matter what happens.
Throughout your day, decide to keep Him in your mind, praise Him, giving thanks and call on Him in time of need. Be relentless in your quest to keep your mind set on Him all the time.
Grace and peace
