Dear Children of God, How can we be mindful and peaceful? Every choice we make impacts our whole life. So what we spend most of our time thinking about will affect our emotional well-being.

There is a connection between your mind and your heart. Your thoughts affect your emotions, which in turn affect how you respond in different situations in life. When we allow godly principles to fill our minds, we will make wise choices, resulting in peace. So be mindful and peaceful as you choose what to meditate and set your mind on.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isa 26:3

Being mindful of God also brings security. As David writes in Psalm 16:8, “I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”

Feeling secure brings peace, rest, or confidence that He is with you, no matter what happens. God will keep your whole being in perfect peace. You will have peace of heart and mind. Peace with others and with yourself. And with your present circumstances.

Throughout your day, decide to keep Him in your mind, praise Him, give thanks and call on Him in time of need. Be relentless in your keeping your mindset on Him all the time.

Even in Phillipians 4:8, we read what to be mindful of: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable if there is any excellence if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”.

“Dear Lord, help us to focus our minds on You, so we can find peace. Lead and guide us to a place where we are mindful of you all day. Jesus is our peace, He is the prince of peace. Thank you, Lord, that in You we have all we need for life and godliness. In Jesus Christ’s Name.” Amen.

Grace and peace to you all!
