Dear children of God, did you know you have an amazing gift? The gift of words. Even more than a gift, it is a stewardship, something you need to care for and nurture so it brings life.

So, words are both wonderful and powerful. They can create life or death.
It is a privilege and a gift from God to share and bless others. Thus, we can create hope and love.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits (Pro 18:21 )

He gifted us with the gift of words so we can express what is in our hearts. So, the words we speak reflect our hearts profoundly.

Therefore, words are seeds we sow into our own lives and the lives of others.

We can create life with the gift of words:

🌱 Speak life over your family and your home.
🌱 Speak life over your work and colleagues.
🌱 Speak life over your enemies so they can find life in Jesus!
🌱 Speak life from the moment you open your eyes to when you go to sleep.

Look around you. What is growing? What is bearing fruit? What is green and colourful? So keep investing life into every person and every situation. And you will have more life, growth and fruitfulness.

And, always remember, your words reflect your heart and your thoughts. What is inside will come out. So, work on the inside first, and then you can open your mouth and spread life wherever you go.

How do you work on the inside? Counselling, mentoring, and therapy can help you find peace, closure, or a way out of your dark spaces.

“Thank you, Lord, for the gift of words. Please help us be good stewards of this extraordinary ability to use words! Help us bless and create life! May we use it to praise and worship You. In Jesus Christ’s Name! Amen!”

Blessings
