Dear children of God, In my experience, the Lord teaches us many wonderful practical things in His Word. Let’s be joyful, patient and faithful whatever season we find ourselves in. Change is inevitable, but how do we handle it when life gets challenging?

Sometimes the sun shines, and there is laughter and joy. All is going “my way”. I am hopeful, healthy and happy. My favourite season! It is easy to be joyful, patient and faithful in good times!

However, when the winter seasons of life arrive, it is dark and cold; there are tears and sadness. The darkness and cold symbolize grief, sickness, and financial or relational issues. Not my favourite season at all!

Nevertheless, your Father, the great I AM, remains the same. He is present in every season of your life. And it will provide what you need for that season: hope, comfort, strength, courage…and much more!

3 Practical Tips to Be Joyful, Patient and Faithful

  • Be joyful if you are in a place of hope and victory!
  • Be patient if you are in a challenging space in your life right now!
  • Be faithful in prayer! Pray always about all things; keep your mind and eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ all the time!

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer”

Romans 12:12

Therefore, whether you are in summer or winter, pray. Pray without ceasing (1Thessalonians 5:17 ). Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise (James 5:13 ). Besides, the psalmist prayed in Psalm 116:4, “Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, I pray, deliver my soul!”

My prayer is: “Lord, we trust in You in this season of our lives. We rejoice in the hope we have in You; help us to be patient in the valleys and help us to be faithful in prayer”.

Blessings and love,

Mareli
